Super Nintendo is the safe suburban housing development normies choice. People who peaked in high school then ended up in loveless marriage with brat kids just like their parents and now want a piece of their childhood to remind them of what fun used to feel like. No amount of money is too much to recapture that feel. Hence the high prices.

Sega fans want that same feel of nostalgia to pass on to their kids but are too busy running companies, banging hot sloots in sport cars, and catching passes from Tom Brady on Sundays to make it a full time hobby so demand is lower causing lower prices.

It's simple really when you think about it.
