I've got no answer for the witch and the recital paintings in the prison. Nothing in the original games seems to be tied to these pictures, and the Book of Lost Memories, which explains a lot of stuff including details omitted in the game doesn't mention them at all, not even on the last page. My guess is that it's a remnant of the original scenario for the third game, which ended up being SH4.
