Just gave this a whirl and it's surprisingly in-depth. There's differen attack/defense/time parameters for each character and also an element to choose on top of that that does something. Picked the character with even stats across the board and ended up getting bodied by the CPU in the first match.

I'm glad I got this instead. Going through the N64 library now and man, a good chunk doesn't hold up. Especially the multiplatform ones. Toy Story 2 was the most painful experience. I got sick of it and played the PS1 version to bring back the good memories.
