>the trigger might have been at least partially broken, though the rest if the stick held out well

>fail to get spare PXL
>break several buttons on PXL handle attempting to fix trigger

DEARGODWHY?!?!? Why didn't I get at least that one spare? Even if it broke, the parts would have been useful, and there are people who even replace the internals with USB stuff.
