Just get one of these. Netbook form factor but natively compatible.

It's nice indeed.
I like it because, it's small, but still has a proper keyboard, fast enough (mine is a 300MHz Celeron with 64MB RAM) to handle any DOS game, has a good LCD panel (looks shit on the picture) and a fully Sound Blaster compatible sound card with internal stereo speakers.

The battery cells can be replaced, I also have a CF (more battery life and great speed boost) card in mine for the hard drive, the somewhat old battery still lasts over 40 minutes playing Doom.
It also has two USB ports and I have a USB WiFi stick on one port inside mine because the free space replacing the hard drive with a CF card provided.

It also has a touchscreen that works inside Windows only and the huge nipple pointer is a great mouse replacement.

Dock also comes in handy for connecting to serial and parallel port, VGA monitor, floppy drive, PS/2 mouse/keyboard.
PCMCIA slot that also works with WiFi and external CD-ROM drives.

So yeah, for a DOS gaming laptop, it's my favorite.
