Well Baratus starts with his fists that hit hard but obviously are melee only. Two of his other weapons shoot AND smash shit. Timon's axe is melee only but it hits like a truck can still be used even with no mana, then he gets a hammer that fires exploding hammers, and Quietus is his ultimate weapon, which is a sword that launches spread gun fire.
Daedolon the mage carries a sapphire wand as his starting weapon which is infinite ammo and lets you plug at enemies freely. Frost shards are neat cus it shoots out a spray of icicles and he can cold touch things at close range, he also gets the arc of death which is fucking insanely good. His ultimate is okay, I can't even remember what it's called, it's kinda like Quietus but not as cool because it's a staff and not a cool sword.
Poor Parias is stuck with a shitty mace but his other weapons kick ass, his serpent staff can sap life energy from monsters at close range his firestorm blows nearby monsters up when you hit one dude, and his ultimate weapon fucking cleans house. The Wraithverge shoots out a hoarde of pissed off ghosts that fuck shit up.

So really it comes down to:
Baratus: Start with strong but short range weapon, get simple but better hitting sticks, solid ultimate weapon.
Daedolon: Start with weak but long range weapon, get some pretty cool weapons, get okay ultimate
Parias: Awful starting weapon, excellent other weapons, complete ass ravager ultimate.
