I like the box art, but the boss itself wasn't as fun as I expected it to be, I also didn't expect the monster to be the first boss you fight against in the game.

It was a great game though, and I spent a lot of fun hours playing it.

Oh, yes. I love most of the music from that game.
And yes, it is Americanized because it was created by Square of America, or whatever the company was called. I'm pretty sure it was all completely created and developed by an American team.
And I have always loved it, probably because I had never played Secret of Mana as a child.
