Is there any reason to play Vanilla Quake now that Copper Quake exists?

It seems that it nails everything wrong with Vanilla and fixes it. I was always turbomad that explosions wouldn't gib zombies if they were lying down in vanilla.

Also, if I make my HUH map with Copper loaded in Trenchbroom, anons playing with just vanilla won't have any problem playing it right? Since it doesn't add new assets

So I'm the new guy to Blood that posted a while ago, with some experience in Doom and Quake

On Well Done and Extra Crispy it feels like Caleb is puny in comparison to how strong everyone else is. On Lightly Broiled you do get to feel a bit like a gunslinger undead badass, while still retaining a challenge.

I wonder if it's a matter of experience with BUILD engine games. On Doom's Ultraviolence I can "feel like the doomguy" most of the time unless I make a severe misplay, but it still remains challenging (at least many PWADS). On Blood's Well Done, it feels like the protagonist is very weak and you have to start abusing the AI/game to succeed.

Is this a matter of experience? Do you breeze through Well Done eventually as well, or does it always remain challenging for seasoned Blood vets?

Guy that has never played DM here. What must I do if I want to setup a multiplayer lobby for friends or for people in here that uses SIGIL? (or whatever other WAD)

Is it just as easy as starting up Zandronum with the sigil WAD and hosting a server, or do I have to do any port forwarding or anything else?
