Been playing pinball for a few years now, recently struck a deal on a Simpsons Pinball Party for significantly less than the wild amount people want on Pinside for it. If you’re looking to get into the hobby, there’s a map that tells you exactly which machines are in your area and you’ll probably find there’s a regular group that plays there, especially if they’ve got 5+ machines. Competitive players can be a quirky bunch but overall (in my city, at least) it’s a nice social community; also a great way to get a good deal on a home machine if you ever want one, it’s how I got mine.
