This drone-thread speaks with the voice and authority of the Boomers. You are trespassing within Boomer space. This board, /vr/, may not be approached for any reason. Nor will hostility toward our 1st-5th gen platforms be tolerated. In addition, your computer does not respond to standard Boomer identification transmissions and is therefore deemed to be... Zoomer. This is not permissable -- only pre-6th gens shall be tolerated. This drone now leaves to inform the Boomers of your transgressions. You are commanded to remain here and await the arrival of the Boomers. Disobedience will be punished.

I've been playing Star Control 2 and I love exploring, meeting aliens, finding clues, figuring things out... but I can't stand the combat. Now I'm at a point in the game where the only way to proceed is to go on a warpath and start engaging in combat almost exclusively and I don't think I can continue with the game. I want to beat it, but I can't get past how awkward I find the combat.
