is this thing worth fucking with if i'm too cheap to get an everdrive and don't give a shit about any of the expansion chip games?

Any of you guys own this? I been thinking of getting one to cut down on the amount of physicals I have to hunt for without getting gypped on the price, but I hear a lot of bad shit about it. Is it actually worth it, or am I gonna need to pay out the ass for an everdrive that does mostly the same but has more credibility to it?

I don't get what you're upset about except having your obscure little piece of obsolete tech be less obscure.

If you actually want the functionality, get a Flash cart.
>but flash carts can't dump ROMs!
Get a SuperUFO, it has a cartridge port and an SD card slot, you can dump the roms to that and not have to deal with fucking garbage ass floppy disks. There's no reason you should be upset about this specific thing spiking in price.

I'd like to be able to play roms on my superfamicom and decided to get this. I'll also be using this as a converter to play SNES carts. Is it worth the price? I'm aware of the sd2snes and I'm not shelling out $200 for it.
