Funny thing happened to me. I was in my room with my girlfriend and I was trying to get my SNES to work. She was playing the Switch or something but I was having trouble because I kept getting these corrupted white blocks on my games no matter what game I put in. So I'm cleaning the console connector with rubbing alcohol and q-tips and it got cleaner, but it did not fix the problem. I do a little online research and seeing all these things about blown fuses or pins getting damaged and I'm pretty sure this console is fucked. My girlfriend gives me the pity speech and feels bad for me but I remember I have an SNES I'd gotten from a thrift store for a pretty good price. I pull it out and plug it in and my girlfriend is looking at me like I'm a fucking wizard. It was the only console I'd had a double of and she's all sad for me because I'd spent all this time trying to fix it just to casually pull out another fucking SNES from thin air.

She still talks about that incident.

TL;DR I pulled an extra console out when my old one shit the bed and blew my girlfriend's mind. An extra console was worth it just for that.
