Can't decide between getting an Odin or a modchip for my OLED Switch

Much nicer screen
Access to Switch library on top of emulation
Emulates most of what I want just fine
Setup will be available much sooner than it'll take for an Odin unit to arrive
Easy access to parts if something fails

Pretty much the exact size and form factor I'm after in a handheld
Can emulate the GCN Animal Crossing which is something I would have wanted to play on Switch but I can live without
General emulation seems much better than on the Switch
Can any anons chime in with opinions?
Looking at Indiegogo prices, Odin + shipping here is 450 AUD. Modchip plus shipping is 250 AUD and I can't imagine someone charging more than 200 for installation so at worst prices will be similar.
