Revenge just has pretty basic "Win the Championship" modes for each belt; Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, US Championship and tag team. You fight 10 matches and face the champ at the last match. The "story" modes improved with each sequel with No Mercy being regarded the best as it incorporates feuds and choices and a feeling of progression to the title(and then defending the title).

Backstage Assault is an abomination, WCW was severely on the slide and EA rushed out a terrible product disguised as a wrasslin' game.
I remember renting it when it came out, I was still a big WCW fan but that game was disgusting.
