Generally, the bigger the set, the better the speakers will probably be. Maybe look for a Mitsubishi console TV. They're pretty hard to find, but they seem to hit the right marks.

Mine's from 1988 and does have S-Video. Big stereo speakers on each side, the size of the grills are a little misleading (the actual speaker only fills about the middle 1/3rd of each pillar) but they do sound great, at least IMO.

Mitsubishi also made models like this except the speakers were on the bottom, sometimes with a little glass door like an entertainment center. I believe those are a bit more common.
