Why do these games feel so fucking miserable and lifeless? Like just playing them for 15 minutes makes me want to kill myself. Nothing feels good, sound effects are fucking nothing, 90% of the backgrounds are soulless voids or scrolling wallpapers, only enemies are boring gay fairies, music gets old fast, shot types are dull, etc etc. The whole experience is just so sterile and depressing.
