>What was fixed on the C version? Is the d-pad any better?
The dpad and abxy are now membranes
Battery went from 450mAh to 600mAh
Analog sticks are now sleek and (maybe) don't drift after a year (i felt them better)
Bluetooth module went from a high consumption 4.0 protocol to a low consumption 5.0 one
The former statement affected performance in two ways, one, battery now last at least 3 weeks of maybe 1 hour of gaming compared to almost a week with the 9083 and 2 weeks with the 9083s; and two, the pairing is now instantanious when connecting to any device and when switching modes; compared to around 10-13 seconds of the former versions
Graphics are cooler imo and are hydro dipped this time, last time the "red and blue" version a friend had felt cheap af after 1 month, i've had mine for 1 year no problem
The normal version felt cheaper on the hand and now it feels more premium (a bit heavier? Maybe the bigger battery?)
Also, this last one is a bit personal i guess but the buttons being membranes help me to put more hours into gaming as i can now play when the wife is watching something on tv as the buttons are dead silent now; i wish the triggers were analog but this is pretty much a god controlller as is, also it can hold almost any device on the clamp, my tab s8 ultra BARELY fits on landscape mode so i always use it on portrait orientation, but given it's the biggest device i've seen i think it will hold everything, but on the other hand smaller phones (like my xperia mini pro, measuring 3 inches tall) need spacers to fit, i just add a piece of acrylic on one side and it fits pretty sturdy
