/vr/ - Retro Games

I don't see the point of doing what I was doing over a fucking DECADE ago.
The reason I'm in the market now is several games I HAD to emulate due to being a teenager with only one console here or there in the 90s and not being able to afford them. Now in my mid 20s, disposable income allows me to afford that rare game here or there without breaking the bank.

I'm more upset about the under 20 somethings that insist its their time to dig into the market with their general ignorance. I was at a retro game store the other day, window shopping more than anything, when I notice these high schoolers shell out $40 for resident evil 2.

Don't get me wrong, its nice to see kids take interest in older titles, but this is not the first time I see these young fuckers use all their allowance money to pay for overpriced games. I recall watching another group of high schoolers at a flea market, myself

I turn to browse the rest of their games, I spot a Landstalkers in box but at this point I figure their just gouging, about to leave and good ol' 90s generation comes in and notices it

I could feel the counter-woman's smirk as I grinded my teeth.

I know I'm ranting, but if you're young and getting into retro gaming, please emulate like OP and don't be a fucking faggot blowing your allowance money because

I found this pretty fucking dark, though it's DC so not strictly retro. Final Fantasy 2 and 6 are pretty fucking dark, as were the Lufia and a lot of the SaGa games.
