man, right off the bat, this mod can pull off some pretty convincing 3D models. imagine the thrill of it at the time of its release. everyone must've gone insane. one would think that with the poor resource management of voxels in gzdoom 3D models would be a pain to render adequately, but in here they're pretty good looking even a good 10 years after its release.

in lieu of knowledge of people disliking the usage the word for pretty much everything... this was, strangely enough, pretty damn comfy. the setting is nice, weirdly charming aesthetic and good sound design. too bad the gameplay itself was pretty bad. I'll cut it some slack given how story-centered the mod is but goddamn, not a single enemy here was interesting to fight, and I found none of the weapons save for the hammer were worth my time.

I will say its only real downside was how damn short it was. only 3 maps long or so. would've definitely benefited from just a couple more, maybe 5 or 7 would have been a fair share. again, really dug the setting and the characters a lot. gameplay left a lot to be desired.
the little guys giving you gameplay tips completely stole the show just because of how adorable they were.
