Vagrant Story is all smoke and mirrors. yeah, it looks good, but the entire game takes place in ridiculously small environments with no real interactivity and very few entities and special effects. compare to games like Majora's Mask or Perfect Dark that have lhuge, fully-rendered 3D environments with tons of lighting effects and dozens of interactive entities. MM could easily pass as a Dreamcast game, where VS just looks like an especially good PS1 title. the N64's best efforts simply cannot be matched by any PS1 game.
