Also, Commander Keen, Lemmings, Skyroad, Serf City (aka Settlers 1), and Syndicate. Used to play Syndicate so much but ugh that terrible mouse tracking is just garbage now.

OP here. Looked it up and no, it wasn't Syndicate.

The graphics were sprites, but made of pre-rendered 3d models. Kinda like the produce of the Infinity Engine, but obviously not made with it, otherwise it would be listed.

The thing that I hated from Syndicate was its real-time combat. Not sure how much it goes with your interest, but meh I'm just throwing it in here.

I've never in my life seen a thread about this gem, so can we please talk Syndicate or other super-obscure old games?
