Am I the only person on the planet that thinks Jungle is a God awful stage?

Seriously. This was the worst level in the game.

Saint's Row IV, the 2013 climax of the Saint's Row series with massive environments.
Left 4 Dead 2, 2009 co-op zombie shooter with lots of advanced behavior.
Serious Sam 3: Before First Encounter, a 2011 shooter featuring tons upon tons of enemies filling the screen at once.
Starbound, the most poorly optimized 2D game in existence, released in 2013.
Tons of other games, most of which with relatively modern release dates.

Hey /vr/. I'm from /vg/ normally. Although, I figured I'd present this question to you because you'd probably have the most knowledge of this topic.

So, I've using my Super Game Boy to play Donkey Kong 94, but I've been kinda poor and used a cheap-ass clone duo console. I recently bought a Super Nintendo and tried to play some DK94 on it. I only hear the chime and Pauline's "Help!" that was designed for the SGB. No music or sfx.

Originally, I thought it was the SNES' fault, but I played a bit of Super Metroid and everything went swimmingly. Tried a new GB game, like Tetris, and no audio as well.

So, the main question I have is this: IS my Super Game Boy pretty much screwed or is it fixable?
