no it's not hard in the slightest. it takes a while getting used to it coming from the original N64 controller but the significant difference in that regard is that this build is a little bit more elevated in vertical size than the orginal controller which is more flat in design.

so you actually have more of a claw grip as result but it feels fine. otherwise this wouldn't work and yes, I'm aware it looks completely misleading on first sight.
