well you're gonna need either get a degassing wand ( a little harder to use, than a coil)

or a degaussing coil (usually little more expensive than a wand but often times way more powerful)

when I've had color purity problems on my PVM's I just bought a cheap Chinese five dollar degassing wand. and it worked great ( took over an hour and a half of me fiddling around with it to get what results I wanted, probably would've been a lot faster with a coil but whatever)

but even doing that I've had to adjust beam landing on some crts completely get rid of color impurities ( or minimize them to the point where they only exist in a tiny little corner and are almost invisible except on a bright white screen)

you can also use some week magnets (like out of the sonic toothbrush) to equalize the impurity.

but I definitely recommend trying a more powerful/elegant solution first.
