I really want to imitate in my game how Turok 2 handles these blood and slime fountains/sprays from enemies, the way they trail and almost look like they clump/blend together despite being strings of separate particles.

Dunno why I bring that up, I thought it looked cool in 1998.

The high resolution doesn't help, either. Is there a single high resolution game on the N64 that doesn't crawl?

I'd have preferred if they (N64 devs in general) focused on high framerate low res games.

I got this from my cousin as a present for christmas one year.

This entire game fucked with me, the thing that still makes me jump is any sort of Drill sound. Mostly because we'd play the game for six plus hours some days with Cerebral bores fucking EVERYWHERE.

So much fun, but fucking horrifying due to the knee jerk reaction of running for your fucking life, hearing that bore flying at you.
