The kid got everything, fast and first. Had every gaming console first day, every game he ever mentioned wanting and every toy that every kid longed for. Strong emphasis on those, I mean FIRST DAY, EVERY GAME and EVERY TOY. Remember the shelves that covered entire walls people would fill with VHS and shit? Libraries of games. Filled, a seemingly endless supply of NES, SNES, SEGA, PS, PS2, DC, N64 goodness. Imagine AVGN's collection without the obscure, below average and up. Even down to obscure PC games, RC helicopter sims with special controllers that cost $100.00+ alone. His family had a HUGE big screen TV for the time, shit, it's huge even by today's standards... Almost completely relegated to his gaming. He kicked adults out of the room to game at any spontaneous moment. To top it off, one hundred percent condescension, you should feel privileged if you get to play with him, even eat with him.

This is the kid whose grandparents and parents bought him every Goosebumps book and he only read two of them and refused to let anyone borrow them. This is the kid who they bought doubles of every toy for, we're talking GI Joe vehicles (including the aircraft carrier), every last Power Rangers toy, the list goes on... his attic looked like a Toys'R'Us fallout shelter. I can't even make this up.

That, my friends, was and probably still is this motherfucker. I knew him into his early 20's. Never changed. The part that confused me is that his family wasn't loaded, hard to believe, but it's true. In the absence of going to church everyday it's as if they turned worship to him. His entire family's lifestyle was built around him. Thinking back it was pretty incredible. I'm sure he's a child molester or something now, but those were the times to be alive I tell ya.
