Low quality bait, you're literally playing yet another reimagination of the game, only this time it's official. This doesn't mean however that it's good, actually, it's the other way around... I've been playing it all day and I'll gladly switch back to GDX. This thing is more bugged than the most prominent sourceports which is laughable, and it doesn't even feel, look and sound the same as the original. I bet there's a lot more stuff into it, probably the worst of all is the AI though... I love it because I think the total opposite of your reasons.

this game has a lot of moves and they are really smooth to perform, there's nothing more fun than doing backflips, wall jumps or sliding i this game
>the world feels exrremely empty
there's so much stuff to see, like a pyramid full of traps, a sunken city, all the different thigns there are in rainbow road, that world that changes from big to small...

maybe if you're expecting more NPCs, but there are a lot of enemies in the worlds
>you can only collect the same collectable for so long ebfore becoming bored
what does this even mean? you're supposed to get each collectable once in a playthrough. if you are talking about replayability, you will get bored of any game from doing the same thing over and over
