This one is really good and complete, although language barrier might be a problem to play since there's a lot of text and events/schedules.

Shigesato Itoi's No.1 Bass Fishing game.
The name says it all.
No but really, it's an interesting game with semi-RPG elements. It supports the fishing N64 controller but I don't have that.

Shigesato Itoi's No. 1 Bass Fishing is pretty based.
It's only in japanese but intuitive enough.
I only played the N64 sequel though, the original is on SFC.
Basically you can walk freely across a field, get your equipment, and talk to animal NPCs. Some of them will challenge you. It sort of has an RPG element to it.
Getting on the boat and exploring the river is comfy as shit.

These threads are just to post games that aren't too obvious. Of course "underrated" is just a buzzword, same as "overrated". In this case, underrated just means games you like that aren't the same ones that always pop up in N64 top 10 lists.
