I bought the Saturn wired edition when they came out and posted a shitty review in a thread here. The Saturn controller is just fine, d-pad feels pretty great. It's just too light for me, I do not like controllers that are near-weightless. They feel cheap to me. I feel similarly about most things, my mouse included, though.

Pros:
D-pad is good
Buttons feel fine, still do
Very light if you like that sort of thing

Cons
No shoulder buttons
Light
Buttons only feel "fine", I suspect they'll give out sooner or later

I don't know why you would've gotten a Genesis/Mega Drive edition when the Saturn edition was right there.

People playing fightan gaymes on controllers grew up playing them on controllers. If you spent any amount of time in an arcade playing Mortal Kumbat or whatever I would suggest getting a joystick.

Shoulders are absolute trash, no select button, and is the lightest controller I have. Some people want weightier controllers is why I mention that. I'm thinking of switching to the jap version of the PS4 fighting commander.
