I'm an absolute beginner at nip and was wondering if anyone here could help me understand the name of Dodonpachi(怒首領蜂).
I've wondered about this since forever and even asked a Japanese person and the first thing they asked when showing them the kanji was if this was even a Japanese name in the first place.
I understand 怒, meaning anger, reads as ど, and 蜂, meaning bee, reads as はち which is at least similar to ぱち。首領 however, meaning leader, as far as I know can only be pronounced as しゅりょう which has nothing to do with anything in the name "dodonpachi". Can anyone who knows the language explain to a brainlet how this name is supposed to be readable to a Japanese speaker?
