i also have one of these but i don't count it under total games because everything is built in and you use switch cards numbered 1-6 to play the marginally different games (requires a book and plastic overlays to actually play it)

i think it mostly has to due with the average age of people who frequent 4chan. majority would be between 12-35 regardless of the age requirement (guessing here of course)

for example i am 24 but collect old game consoles and play them quite often but overall i tend to favor systems from the 80-90s as i rather like the pre-3d games but don't find most gen 2 and earlier games to be all that compelling outside of clever arcade ports like centipede for the atari 2600 or games like pitfall 2 and yar's revenge
