It seems like the Goodwills around here never have anything, but if they do it's nothing special. Not retro, but the best I got was Animal Crossing with the original memory card for four bucks.

Like five years ago, I scored a boxed Master System on ebay with eight games, two controllers, light gun, 3D glasses, and little arcade stick for twenty dollars. Looking around Game Crazes and seeing Master Systems go for fifty on their own boggles my mind how lucky I am.

By the way, what do you guys think of Game Craze? I've only been to two in Rochester once each, but I go to the one at Eastview Mall fairly often. I used to go to the one in Canandaigua a lot as a kid, but I'm pretty sure it's a front for drugs or some shit. The dudes who work there nowadays don't strike me as gamers at all and they put the price stickers on the paper cover sleeves beneath the plastic. It's disgusting. Thanks for the heads up on Heckle and Jeckle, I shall steer clear.

I haven't been to the Avon flea market since last summer, I ought to make a trip there again sometime.

Anyone been to the International Center for the History of Electronic Games at the Strong Museum? I highly, highly recommend it especially if you haven't been to an arcade in years like me. Such a blast.

I've posted "Unloved 2 will never be released ;_;" a few times.

I have to agree, unloved was really great in terms of atmosphere. I even now remember the foreboding I got right at the end of the beta of 2 when looking at the area where you have to bring all the keys. I also liked that Unloved was still able to play like a good shooty doom game but have such a creepy atmosphere.

It's sad really that some people were utter fuckheads to him, he shouldn't have let them get him down.
