Reason why both /v/orld and to extent clover feel like "our" projects is because they're all deepcuts. Each anon decided "I remember this era from when I lurked around 2008/2012/2016 etc. I want to do a dumb level about it."
I'm sure the /v/ fnf mod was for the same reason but people just see it as surface level and go "haha funny characters let ship them". You mention anything else 34A related and they won't know what you're talking about.
