Pic related is from the official Sony site, albeit an archived page too because it seems they don't currently have any info on the original playstation now?
They aren't using "PS", but just PlayStation and PS one (but show a pic of the original model, not the "PSOne").
Sony themselves seem to prefer using just "PlayStation" rather than PS, but PSX is nowhere to be seen in japanese sources.
