brutal doom is both under and overrated.
ribbiks maps are for sadists.
pistol starting is a waste of time, the games map progression was meant to carry over weapons.
duke is overrated but the other games that share the engine nam & ww2 gi are amazing.
russians make the best maps period.
people here rag on hd textures a lot because "it's out of place", but if you're playing a gameplay mod made in <2013, it doesn't matter because you've already modernized doom, you might as well update the look.
