Never played thru all of Q1 here, but the rose tinted goggles on Q2 are pretty strong, the slightly revamped AI and levels are cool and custom player models still work if you know where to put em,

If you hated Quake II or are so stubborn that you can't tolerate any change at all to classic games then I dont think this remaster will change your mind any, but it's really cool to see the effort put in. I was expecting some hd textures and tweaks and that's it. With this you can effortlessly make or jump into an online server with settings that make the game less annoying.
