Requesting Ranger from Quake 1 making a wasteland out of the Disney Corp. HQ building via use of each of his weapons. Inside the building, there is not only dead Disney security guards and Dorkly writers, but also many clear signs of structural damage from Ranger's shotgun, SSG, both the Nailguns, grenades from grenade launcher, and rocket launcher use. He is yelling "this is for Luke, Han, Leia, and all the underpaid artists you employ!" while using the Super Nailgun on a squad of security guards blocking a nearby elevator.

I wonder how one would boot the physical versions of These custom expansions back in the day? Would you need a computer with an additional Optical Disc drive attached? Or could one also do command line tinkering?

I see speedrunners and stuff flying through quake and I know they've modified the game a lot but I've still heard a lot about quake supposedly having really good movement, yet when I jump in quake, my direction gets locked in and I cant move the mouse while I'm in the air. Whats the deal?
