Shit man you've been missing out, there's been a bunch of cool mods that've came out, Fractal got some new updates, Term's working on a metroid mod, complete with morphball mechanics, Polished Skull is pretty badass, there's Minigunner's mod which adds some neat gameplay tweaks, Marty's been working The Space Pirate and apparently he's gonna be adding little mac in as a special character. There's also SHOTGUNS where every bleeding actor bleeds shotguns that fire everywhere before blowing up

Oh and then there's my project, which is essentially every fantasy Capcom game (GnG, the D&D Beat em up, Magic Sword, etc) smashed with doom

It's all pretty hype

okay, guys. Guys. Hear me out, an idea struck me in the shower:

I've been replacing weapon/ammo spawns with random health/mana pickups and a few powerups. Someone in the last thread brought up chests being dropped sometimes too.

What if the chests contain sub-items that replace the secondary fire for the unpowered versions of the wand and sword? Like you pick up a sub item, and it replaces the grappler with a shield to block shit, and the wand gets... Fuck I don't know, some kinda whirling chakram that bounces all over the place and goes apeshit?
