Thread for discussion of classic immersive sims, from Ultima Underworld to Thief to Deus Ex.
Could System Shock 2 have been as good as Deus Ex if it had maintained the same level of quality from the first third of the game? Is System Shock 1 even more groundbreaking than Doom? What is tencent even doing with the System Shock rights?
These and other questions will probably never be answered because this genre is deader than disco.
