Im a 2000's kid that grew up on the Wii. I actually enjoyed a lot of NES wii-ware titles more than official games at the time (Mario 3 is better than New Soup Wii no contest)

Same went for TV, we had a bootleg tele service where the best channels were MEtv and Boomerang. Boomers unironically love my knowledge on late 80s shows, and chat about episodes im sure no modern 'kid' knows about.
(I still stan Matlock to this day)

This did have some 'odd' effects to my teenage years (I went all out on the 1920's athstetic with 78's and Al Bowly and Frank Miesler, when kids my age were rocking to metal) but ultimatly grew to be an average adult.
