As someone who played only the CD version, I got to ask how did the story feel as a standalone for you? Especially the last battle.
Like, I love the scenario and the characters a ton. It's probably the most creative one before the Saturn era. But still it's hard to see it for me as its own thing, with all the things from the prequel.
