If they were twenty years our senior, that would make them born in the early 70s. Since we are talking about the immediate decade preceding our birth, the comparison would be someone twenty years our senior having a picture of the 1960s, not the 1950s, disingenuous mathlet. Someone born in 1970 can have a pretty solid idea of what the 1960’s were like because it was the previous decade lol. They might have a more difficult time understanding what the 50’s were like.
If you were born in the early 90’s, like you claim you are, and like I am, than that means you grew up 80’s television, music, movies and more. Your parents probably still had a car manufactured in the 1980s when you were young. My mother literally had a red ‘85 Camaro for example, it was the first car I ever rode in. They probably played lots of music they liked growing up, and guess what decade that is coming out of and being spread to their children? A lot of television in the 1990s were reruns of the 80’s. Every tape your parents bought you that wasn’t Jurassic Park or Power Rangers was probably Star Wars or Transformers or Indiana Jones. You think 1990 happened and suddenly the building blocks of the world around you completely transformed?
90’s kids, early 90’s, were absolutely soaked in 80’s media and therefore can have a good understanding of what it was like sans the first hand experience. We had cutlery, decorations, curtains and more in my home from the 60’s let alone the fucking 80’s. If you were full enough of child to not have the ability to absorb the era immediately preceding you, that means you’re a brainless normalfaggot lol.

The Darkness’ popularity was brief, but that doesn’t matter, it solidified that the 80’s were back.
