I can't understand how someone can get so mad about a curious observation about Zelda games on a retro video game board

you're not gonna enjoy the game playing it on emulator but have fun i guess. play the original for starters cause now youre just double fucking yourself lol. this game has a bunch of awesome things to it that you can expect such as;
-Getting lost
-Missile farming
-Getting bored after having to check every single block for a destructible surface
-The bosses are kind of fun and some parts of the game actually look as good as the atmosphere is trying to be
-Final boss is very cool story wise, something you don't see alot in nintendo games.
-Different beams and armors are what will make you feel like you've 'progressed' , not area coverage
-the map sucks
-the music sucks 75% of the time
-the metroids are cute little buggers
-shine spark is fun
-you won't get used to the timing for walljumping because this game isn't meant to have platformer mechanics hence the metroidvania bla bla bla
-you'll want to play a different game.

>Starts to get dark out, ask if they wanna play some vidja
>They all seem enthusiastic
>They don't have any consoles or a home computer. Just tablets and smartphones
>Put in some classic multiplayer games
>"What is this? Is this like Mario?"
>As the game starts, everyone seems to be having a good time
>Someone touches an enemy and loses a life
>"Uhm... I don't really wanna play this anymore."
>All the rest of them immediately lose interest and want to do something else

I don't understand kids anymore. I feel kind of bad for them, but I can't really put my finger on what happened or why. I'm not gonna try and push them in to something they don't wanna do, but it just feels like they didn't give this enough of a try.

Anyone have an similar experiences? Or advice for sharing my hobby with this kiddos?
