It's a pretty unique concept. Isometric poltergeist simulation isn't really a genre but that's what it is. You possess random objects in a family home in order to scare each of the tenants away. There are some light "combat" sections that take place in what I'd guess is supposed to be Hell or something but for the most part, it's just ecto-Fonzie scaring the shit out of New Jersey trash people. Must play.

I really enjoy The Haunting Starring Polterguy, aside from the ecto dungeon and the final boss.

Same, I remember seeing the ads for it in video game magazines, and seeing how cool it looked but I couldn't rent it anywhere. They had like ten copies of it loosely stacked on the dirty floor with a bunch of genesis shovelware. IIRC it was the only game they had worth buying at the time and didn't sell games often or at all, really.

I think it was one of times opened my piggy bank or begged my parents for the money.
