Sorry far responding so late, this week went faster than I realized.

At this point it would take long time(as KA is not that well documented, let alone dissembled like for example SMW or SMB3, and even then it would take long time, for example mario adventure 3, 3mix and other hacks with major changes to vanilla-game takes years to complete.), and Im not too familiar with ASM so its unlikely that I'd do something like that, unless someone makes SS editor.

So yeah, for now its more or less vanilla-hack.

Well hi-jump and tornado basically goes same height(although tornado is harder to control), ball goes even higher and with fireball and wheel its possible to climb walls(which is easy to block), but earliest point you can get it after beating 1-S, going back there and get it and exit via pause(its impossible to beat whole level with just tornado AFAIK), which Im sure most people dont even realize or bother and it depends on when player does/finds secret level and keeps it to world2. Other is much later in world2's museum or 2-3(I think), but at that point there isnt really any major sequence-breaks which you cant do with other abilities. And for later levels, I can easily make it that player cant bring entrain ability to sequence-break or any ability at all.

That part with scarfys is intended as easy method to go through it(+ you basically need it to reach switch, its possible with hi-jump but that part with scarfys is much harder as you cant inhale-and-run through it).

But I'll try myself to see if its really that big deal
