/vr/ - Retro Games

Some of the levels/puzzles make sense. Other times it's just a bunch of obtuse point-and-click-adventure-stlye bullshit. Also, you get only 1 life, no continues, and just about any enemy can wreck your shit if you don't have a weapon handy.

Oh, and 99% of games, because I suck at video games.

Fetch quest? Fine.
Only one life? Fair enough.
Licensed game? I am okay with this, because I loved Beavis And Butt-Head at the time.

But man, why did they have to make this game so horribly unintuitive? This game could be alright if it didn't require a goddamn strategy guide to figure out half of everything you need to finish the game. I understand that some NES games required the help of Nintendo Power to deal with translation errors that made those games arguably unplayable at certain points. But this game was made in America in the '90s, so there is no excuse for this shit.

Is it even possible to finish this game without a walkthrough?
