It’s the only game I can safely say is a masterpiece in my eyes even with all of its countless flaws and obtuseness. It was my first ps1 game I got when I was in 2nd grade and even though I didn’t understand it well, I was entranced by it. I played it for years regardless of the frustrations and bugs. There’s just something about it that I can’t get over. I’m replaying it now at 31 and I’m still just as obsessed with it now as I was when I was a kid

Kenji Watanabe who designed most of the original Digimon, their art and still does. He did some character designs for early games too.
