Never played EQ or any mmorpg for that matter. But trying EQ has always been on the bucket list. How noob friendly is the private server? Could I easily find some friendly vets to show me around the game?

Not sure, I have fuzzy memories of playing my cousin's copies of Zelda and SMB/Duck Hunt, not sure which one I played first.

Third generation. Anything below that isn't very fun to me.

Had a healthy social life through high school, never had a gf until college. Post college I have one best friend who was a co-worker and we remained friends after we left that job. As for girls, I had a few girlfriends, almost got engaged to the one I lived with for two years. Did some soul-searching and realized they just make me miserable.

To be honest? Not highly anymore. But I don't think it's any single problem per say, but rather imageboard culture slowly dying as a whole. I might not like it here, but I have no where else to go and I'll be damned if I ever use traditional message boards ever again or worse, any social media, web 2.0 cancer.
