I will never stop shilling the Wii U Pro controller. It's literally 100% perfect for playing retro games. It's a basically a SNES controller with a more comfortable grip and some analog sticks and 2 extra shoulder buttons. The adapter for it even supports XInput mode.

The only thing the DS3/DS4 has over this is the analog triggers. But if you don't need analog triggers then this controller is all you will ever need.
