I just finished Chiki Chiki Boys for the first time ever and realised that I have never finished a Sega Genesis game before.

I know Sega had a lot of grim platformers that SNES never got, but are there other lighthearted platformers like this one?

Chiki Chiki Boys, arcade action adventure from Capcom, ported to the Genesis by Sega themselves. Really colorful, quickly-paced, great music, the whole package. If you like the Wonder Boy in Monster Land games, I highly recommend it.

Anon, you need Chiki Chiki Boys in your life. I don't know a single Genesis owner other than me who knows about this game, and it's one of my favorites on the system. It's downright criminal it's not talked about more.
